| Home FREE CLAIM EVALUATION The law firm of Milberg LLP is pursuing litigation against Actavis Totowa LLC relating to the Class I recall of the drug Digitek® on April 25, 2008. Actavis Totowa LLC, a United States manufacturing division of the international generic pharmaceutical company Actavis Group, initiated the Class I recall of Digitek® (digoxin tablets, USP) all strengths, for oral use. The products are distributed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., under a "Bertek" label and by UDL laboratories, Inc. under a "UDL" label. Digitek® (also known as digoxin) is used to treat heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms. This drug has been linked to Digitalis toxicity. Digitalis toxicity can cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, low blood pressure, cardiac instability and bradycardia. Death can also result from excessive Digitalis intake. The voluntary all lot recall is due to the possibility that tablets with twice the appropriate thickness may have been commercially released. These tablets may contain twice the approved level of active ingredient than is appropriate. If you or a loved one has taken Digitek® and has suffered any of the signs of Digitalis toxicity, please contact us at 1-866-495-5189. You may be legally entitled to recover medical expenses, lost earnings, as well as compensation for physical pain and suffering, mental anguish and physical impairment. For persons who have died, their surviving spouse or other family members often can bring a wrongful death action. Milberg LLP ATTORNEY ADVERTISING |
